Nerd Mode: A Hands-On AI Event in Amsterdam, March 2027
Nerd Mode is a day of making AI do real work. It runs in Amsterdam in March 2027, in English, and every session ends with something working on your laptop or a real agent taken apart on stage.
Why We’re Putting It On
We run AI agents in our own businesses. One of them answers the replies to our outbound campaigns: it reads each reply, researches the person, offers two real meeting times and books the meeting. A second agent checks its work before anything goes out. The first version took a weekend to build, and over the 14 days to 28 Oct 2026 it sent 8 in 10 of its messages with no human touching them.
When we talk about that, the questions are always the same. How did you build it? How did you teach it? What broke? What does it cost? How do you stop it saying something stupid? Nerd Mode is the long answer, with everyone’s laptops open.
What Happens on the Day
The day has three tracks and you can move between them.
- Use AI properly. For anyone who uses AI at work and knows they’re getting a fraction of what it can do. The daily tool stack, prompts that read like a good brief, research in minutes and meetings that turn into actions by themselves.
- Build your own agents. From a blank screen to an agent doing a real job. Your first agent in an hour, connecting agents to your tools with MCP, a reviewer agent that checks the work and agents that run on a schedule.
- Agents in production. Teardowns of AI agents running real businesses, with the numbers, the costs and the failure modes nobody puts in the demo.
Running all day: the Agent Garage, where you bring the agent that won’t behave and leave with it working, and lightning demos, five minutes each with no slides.
Who It’s For
Founders and leaders who want to see AI working before they bet the business on it. Sales and marketing teams, because research, outreach and follow-up are where agents pay back first. Ops people and builders who already wire tools together. And anyone who has tried ChatGPT and wants the next step. You don’t need to write code.
What We Know and What We Don’t Yet
We know the city, the month and the format. The exact date, the venue and the ticket price aren’t fixed yet, and they go to the interest list before we announce them anywhere else. The draft agenda is up, and people on the list vote on what makes the final cut.
How to Get In
Register your interest. It’s free, it takes 20 seconds and it commits you to nothing. You’ll hear the date and venue first, get first access to tickets and a vote on the agenda. If you’ve built something worth showing, apply to speak or demo.
